Introductory Wine Appreciation Course (1 Day)Saturday, March 27, 2010 - only 1 place left The morning session covers the Back to Basics segment from the evening course: What is wine? How do we taste? How do we know a 'good' wine and detect wine faults? What are generic styles and varietal wines all about? A break for lunch at your own expense, then a close look at the classic white and red varietals to explore flavour and style. Not quite as in-depth as the 4 evening course but still a great starter course. A selection of quality cheeses and bread are served to accompany the wines during the day.
