About Wine Appreciation Courses and Tastings with Peter Bourne

Wine education is Peter’s biggest passion after wine itself.  His classes comprise a diverse group of adults, some who work in the hospitality and/or wine industries, some who have enjoyed drinking wine for years and others who are complete wine novices.   With a maximum of 16 in any one group, Peter makes all feel very welcome.   

The small group size means the courses and tastings are very practical with lots of wines to try every session.  You will be able to pick out your own favourites and enjoy friendly interaction with Peter about your wine experiences.  Peter can offer personal advice on what to look for when purchasing wine.  A selection of quality cheese and bread are served to accompany the wines and stave off the hunger pangs! 

At the end of each session you will have tasted some great wines, learnt loads, made some new friends and had great fun along the way. 

Classes and Tastings are held in the Wine Tasting Room above Pyrmont Cellars (Porters), 123 Harris Street, Pyrmont – listed under Courses and Tastings at Pyrmont.
